41 points scored by 30 year old American swingman Andravious Smith (198-G/F-1995, college: Tougaloo) made him the highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team Santa Tecla beat the Fantasmas 94 to 85. He also grabbed 15 rebounds and got 9 assists that game. Smith is the best scorer in the league averaging over 35 points and over 9 rebounds per game.
Among many awards his team was the regular season runner-up in the El Salvador Liga Mayor Apertura in 2023. Smith was selected as the Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Apertura Import Player of the Year back in 2021.
He was also awarded Player of the Week in the Salvadorean Liga MB times already this season.
